PCB Will No Longer Impose COVID-19 Restrictions in Upcoming Tours

PCB has chosen to end COVID-19 conventions for the impending home series against West Indies. As per new principles, incessant COVID-19 testing won’t be done and players won’t need to remain inside the bio-secure air pocket.

Two years prior, when the world was hit by the pandemic, gigantic changes were seen on the field of cricket. From normal testing for the viral infection to confining inside the bio-secure air pocket, players had a ton to look to keep playing cricket all over the planet.

With the circumstance slowly improving, the cricket world is getting back to ordinary working and PCB has made a significant stride towards it. PCB has chosen to stay away from the already obligatory quarantine of 5 days as well as the testing that should have been done each and every other day.

In the impending home series against West Indies, the guests won’t be tried for COVID-19 on appearance and tests may be done after seeing any side effects. Additionally, the limitations of the bio-secure air pocket are to be eliminated also.

West Indies will visit Pakistan in June for 3 ODI matches.
