Due to an issue, a Qatar Airways flight from Delhi to Doha had to make an emergency landing at Jinnah International Airport in Karachi.
The incident occurred when the Airbus 150 aircraft experienced smoke in one of its cabins, prompting a fire emergency response. The plane was flying at an altitude of 40,000 feet at the time.
As a result of the emergency landing, another flight from Doha to Karachi had to be delayed. Additionally, Air Lanka’s UL-183 flight destined for Karachi was also affected and had to be postponed for boarding.
The Airbus 150 aircraft was parked on runway no. 1 at Jinnah International Airport, and the passengers were relocated to a transit lounge.
