During the current fiscal year 2021-22, the utilization of funds in the Public Sector Development Program (PSDP) has remained significantly low. Only 45.3% of the allocated assignments have been utilized in the first three-quarters.
Out of the total allocation of Rs. 900 billion, only Rs. 407.603 billion has been utilized so far. The utilization under the Rupee component is 40.70% of the allocated Rs. 800 billion, while the utilization under the Foreign Exchange Component (FEC) is over 81% of the allocated Rs. 100 billion.
The utilization against the approved funds is 63.7% of the approved amount, and the utilization by the concerned services/divisions is 72.8% of the authorized funds.
