Babar Azam achieves a significant milestone, surpassing Sir Vivian Richards along the way.

Babar Azam becomes the second-fastest player to reach 4,000 runs in ODI cricket, surpassing Sir Vivian Richards. He achieved this milestone in his 82nd innings against Australia in the first ODI.

Currently, Babar Azam is batting at 54 alongside Imam-ul-Haq, with Pakistan at 116 for the loss of 1 wicket while chasing a target of 313 runs. Here is the list of the fastest players to reach 4,000 runs.
