PCB to Display 1992 World Cup Trophy at Gaddafi Stadium on 30th Anniversary Tomorrow

To commemorate the 30th anniversary of Pakistan’s historic 1992 World Cup victory, PCB has announced that the World Cup trophy will be exhibited at Gaddafi Stadium on the final day of the third Test match between Pakistan and Australia.

Exactly 30 years ago on March 25th, Imran Khan led Pakistan to their first-ever World Cup triumph, defeating England in a thrilling final. This significant day remains a highlight in Pakistan’s cricketing history as their only World Cup victory to date.

Given that the last day of the momentous Test series between Pakistan and Australia coincides with the anniversary of this groundbreaking triumph, PCB has decided to make it even more memorable by allowing fans to celebrate with the World Cup trophy.

The World Cup trophy will be on display tomorrow at Gaddafi Stadium, providing cricket enthusiasts with the opportunity to take selfies with the coveted prize.

While celebrations continue off the field, an intense battle is expected on the field as Pakistan requires 278 runs with all 10 wickets intact to secure a series victory against Australia.
