Pakistan’s top cricketers have been granted NOCs by the PCB to join their county teams in England. Seven players, including Shaheen Afridi and Mohammad Rizwan, have been given approval to participate in the upcoming County season.
With the conclusion of the historic Australia tour, Pakistani players will have a break before returning to international cricket. The players have signed agreements with various County clubs for the upcoming English cricket season.
Shaheen Shah Afridi will join Middlesex, Mohammad Rizwan will represent Sussex, Azhar Ali will feature for Worcestershire, Naseem Shah has joined Gloucestershire, and Zafar Gohar is also set to join a county team soon.
The players will balance their commitments between their respective county sides and national duties. The County Championship season 2022 will be held from April 7 to September 29 in England and Wales.
